District Brightens Busy Block of Airline
The North Houston District kicked off its new public art program in 2021. In July 2020, the District partnered with Up Art Studio to discuss ways to enhance the area with more public art.
Currently, the NHD has more than 40 pieces of public art, but with its many green spaces and ongoing area improvements, there’s room for more!
Recently, the artist known as Dual was hired to create the District’s first commissioned mural at Harris County’s Aldine Branch Library.

What’s next for you?
I’ve been hired to install an art exhibit for Weingarten Realty Group at their office in Town and Country/City Centre in September. I also have an upcoming project in Galveston for October.
