Clean & Green

Ensuring that our area is recognized for its cleanliness and beauty is an important part of the North Houston District’s mission, and the responsibility of keeping trees trimmed, landscaping manicured, and rights-of-way tidy falls to our Field Services Department.

Through strong relationships with District contractors and partners, the Field Services Department systematically monitors our area, swiftly addresses issues where it can, and reports problems to appropriate city and county departments when necessary.

From weekly maintenance of 14 major intersections, public right-of-way mowing and District-wide litter pickup to daily maintenance of 56 acres of parkland including the global attractions of North Houston Skate Park and Rockstar Energy Bike Park we work to keep the District appealing, safe and green.
