With more than 20 years in law enforcement, Captain Sandi Chapa is a dedicated leader committed to keeping the North Houston District safe. As the captain of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office District Two Patrol Division, she oversees a task force of six deputies and one sergeant, ensuring a strong presence throughout the area.
Captain Chapa’s experience spans multiple roles, from Detention Officer to Internal Affairs Investigator and Sergeant in the Vice & Human Trafficking Unit. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes communication, collaboration, and emotional intelligence—skills she believes are essential in law enforcement.
“I can be a strong leader and still be personable,” Captain Chapa shares, underscoring her approach to building relationships with both the community and law enforcement partners, including the Houston Police Department and the North Houston District.
