Futbolito in the City powered by Shell Energy provides free soccer programming and free play to youth in the greater Houston area. Dynamo & Dash Charities will provide free coaching for kids ages 6-14 for 90 minutes once a week for ten weeks, split into two five-week sessions.This program uses the power of soccer to provide an opportunity for youth to pursue their interest in playing the sport and gain new skills at zero cost to their families.
Free Youth Soccer Program Coming to Wussow Park This Fall

This September, the Houston Dynamo are bringing the excitement of professional soccer straight to the North Houston District—free of charge. As part of Futbolito in the City powered by Shell Energy, kids ages 6 to 14 are invited to join a free youth soccer program hosted right here at Tom Wussow Park.
Beginning Tuesday, September 2, the North Houston District will welcome Dynamo & Dash Charities and their team of expert coaches for a five-week soccer camp designed to teach kids the fundamentals of the game, build confidence, and create a space for fun and fitness. Sessions run weekly on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 PM through September 30.
Soccer for Everyone—No Cost, Just Fun
Futbolito in the City is more than just soccer practice. It’s a community-powered, play-based program that provides high-quality coaching and free play opportunities for youth at local parks, schools, and Dynamo mini pitch locations across Houston. No gear is needed. No prior experience is required. Just sign up and show up—ready to play.
All programming is offered completely free of charge, making it easier for families across Houston to access youth sports. Each session is designed to help players grow both on and off the field—whether they’re learning how to dribble, score, pass, or become better teammates.
The program is open to children ages 6-14 once a week for five weeks.

In addition to weekly coaching sessions, participants also have the chance to win exciting prizes, including official Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash gear, match tickets, autographed merchandise, and even the opportunity to meet players from the Dynamo and Dash teams.
Every player who signs up through the official online registration form will be eligible. There’s also the option to register for additional Futbolito locations citywide—making it easy to keep the fun going all fall long.
