National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Held across the U.S., the event encourages residents to meet their local law enforcement officers, get to know their neighbors, and participate in activities that foster safety and unity within their communities. The goal is to strengthen relationships and build trust, ultimately creating safer, more connected neighborhoods. Events often include block parties, cookouts, parades, safety demonstrations, and games, all aimed at fostering a strong sense of community spirit and cooperation.
