As an essential business in the supply chain infrastructure, Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB) is committed to ensuring that our employees’ safety is a top priority while serving our customers, grocery stores and restaurants.
We continue answering the call for beverage donations wherever possible. To date, we have donated beverages to support community organizations, food banks, frontline responders and homeless shelters.
Recently, Arca Continental CCSWB provided much-needed logistics and supply chain support to help nonprofit TXRX Labs, which is producing face shields to protect frontline healthcare workers. Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages trucks transported the donated large-scale PET (polyethylene terephthalate, a common thermoplastic) sheets to TXRX Labs.
The Coca-Cola Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Coca-Cola Company, awarded $13.5 million in grants to five nonprofit organizations working on the front lines of the U.S. and Canadian humanitarian response to the coronavirus pandemic. The latest grants support organizations focused on providing relief to first responders and residents of economically disadvantaged communities.
