The North Houston District Board of Directors is composed of 13 dedicated volunteers and boasts a total of 189 years of collective service. This year, they approved 36 agenda items, greenlighting impactful efforts aligning with NHD’s mission.

We are especially pleased to honor two members for their significant service milestones: George Lunnon for 25 years and Karen Marshall for 20 years. Their continued dedication and wealth of experience are invaluable assets to the District, and we are grateful to have them as integral members of the Board.

Public Safety Initiatives and Achievements

Public Safety for Quadrants Post

North Houston District helps to keep the area safe for businesses and residents by funding programs that complement local law enforcement efforts. These include collaborating with the Houston Police Department North Belt Division, a dedicated Harris County Sheriff’s Office task force, Houston Police Department Special Operations initiatives, an off-duty officer patrol program, and private security patrols.

In 2025, the District became the first management district in Houston to provide a fleet of eBikes for local law enforcement use. The annual March on Crime week efforts included knocking on an impressive 3,250 doors, making contact with 650 residents, and issuing 1,740 vehicle security report cards. Proactive crime prevention programs like this continue to make our community safer.
