Upcoming Beltway Road Closures
Please see below for details of the closures that have been scheduled for Beltway 8 Eastbound between Imperial Valley Dr. and Aldine Westfield. These closures will facilitate the start of much needed repairs of the Beltway 8 Eastbound Overpass at the Hardy Toll Rd./UPRR.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes.

I 45 Northbound Direct Connector to Beltway 8 Westbound: Total Closure continuously between 8:00 PM on Friday, 10.15.21 to 5:00 AM on Monday, 10.18.21 and again between 8:00 PM on Friday, 11.05.21 to 5:00 AM on Monday, 11.08.21. Detour by following the I 45 Mainlanes to the Greens Rd. Exit. Follow the I 45 Northbound Frontage Rd. to the U-Turn at Greens Rd. Follow the U-Turn at Greens Rd to the I 45 Southbound Frontage Rd. Follow the I 45 Southbound Frontage Rd to the Beltway 8 Westbound Frontage Rd. Turn Right, (West) onto the Beltway 8 Westbound Frontage Rd. and follow it to the entrance ramp to the Beltway 8 Westbound Mainlanes.

Beltway 8 Eastbound Exit to Aldine Westfield: Total Closure continuously between 8:00 PM on Thursday, 10.14.21 to 5:00 AM on Monday, 10.18.21 and again between 9:00 PM on Thursday, 11.04.21 and 5:00 AM on Monday 11.08.21. Detour by following the Beltway 8 Eastbound mainlanes to the exit Ramp to JFK Blvd. U-Turn via the signalized intersection at JFK Blvd. and then follow the Beltway 8 Westbound Frontage Rd. to Aldine Westfield.
Beltway 8 Eastbound Main Lanes between Ella Blvd. and Imperial Valley Dr.: Multiple Alternate Lanes closed continuously between 9:00 PM on Friday, 10.15.21 to 5:00 AM on Monday, 10.18.21 and again between 8:00 PM on Friday, 11.05.21 to 5:00 AM on Monday, 11.08.21.

Beltway 8 Eastbound Main Lanes between Imperial Velley Dr. and Chaplin St.: One Left, (Inside) Lane closed continuously between 9:00 PM on Friday, 10.15.21 to 5:00 AM on Monday, 11.08.21. Two Lanes will remain open, except during the weekend closures that are scheduled to place and then remove this closure.
Beltway 8 Westbound Main Lanes between the exit to the Hardy Toll Rd./East Hardy Rd. and Imperial Valley: 1 Left, (Inside) Lane Closed continuously between 9:00 PM on Friday, 10.15.21 to 5:00 AM on Sunday, 10.17.21.
All closures are subject to cancellation or modification due to adverse weather.

Beltway 8 Westbound Frontage Rd. U-Turn to the Beltway 8 Eastbound Frontage Rd.: Intermittent Total Closures between 5:00 AM on Saturday, 07.30.21 and 5:00 AM on Monday, 08.16.21. Detour west on the Beltway 8 Westbound Frontage Rd.; Turn Left, (South), on the Hardy Toll Rd Southbound Frontage Rd. (E. Hardy); Turn Left, (East), on the Beltway 8 Eastbound Frontage Rd. The U Turn will not be closed until the two westbound mainlanes between Aldine Westfield Rd. and Imperial Valley Dr. have been reopened.

Hardy Toll Rd Southbound Frontage Rd. (E. Hardy) between the Beltway 8 Westbound Frontage Rd. and the Beltway 8 Eastbound Frontage Rd.: 1 Alternate Lane closed continuously between 9:00 PM on Friday, 08.06.21 and 5:00 AM on Monday, 08.09.21.
Hardy Toll Rd Northbound Frontage Rd. (E. Hardy) between Courtesy Rd. and the Beltway 8 Eastbound Frontage Rd.: 1 Alternate Lane closed continuously between 9:00 PM on Friday, 08.06.21 and 5:00 AM on Monday, 08.09.21.
West Hardy Rd. Southbound at BW 8: 1 Alternate Lane closed continuously between 5:00 AM on Saturday, 07.31.21 and 5:00 AM on Monday, 08.02.21. The alternate lane closure will not be placed until the two westbound mainlanes between Aldine Westfield Rd. and Imperial Valley Dr. have been reopened.
West Hardy Rd. Northbound at BW 8: 1 Alternate Lane closed continuously between 5:00 AM on Saturday, 07.31.21 and 5:00 AM on Monday, 08.02.21. The alternate lane closure will not be placed until the two westbound mainlanes between Aldine Westfield Rd. and Imperial Valley Dr. have been reopened.
